Like Mommy

Lilah has been on this kick of trying to put my shoes on, daddy's work boots on and then she tries to put them on us... well today I thought I'd capture the comedy! She put mommy's running shoes on after we got back from our morning walk... Haha I'm surprised her big feet don't fit in there perfectly! I hope this is just the beginning of her wanting to borrow my things!

For the first time ever... Lilah fell asleep in her high chair! She had a day full of activities (the pier and Downtown HB, the mall, and then playing at home)... and she finally just conked out in her high chair... so cute!

We bought Lilah this floaty for when Noni and Grandpa come into town for the 4th of July... their time share has a pool, but I just couldn't pass up the beautiful days we've been having! Auntie Ashley and Uncle Mike have a pool at their complex so Ash, Nicole and I took Lilah swimming. This is just a handful of the pictures taken....

For Father's Day we met up with Auntie Jackie and Uncle Dave and Cousin Carter at the Long Beach Aquarium... and the kids had a blast!!! It was so fun to watch them try and chase the fish in the tanks and then touch all of the animals that they could. It was definitely a day to remember... we'll be going back soon!

Daddy had a very relaxing Father's Day! Mommy took Lilah to the LB Aquarium and Daddy enjoyed some peace and quiet! Then we hung out at home and met up with his family for a Father's Day dinner. Mommy got daddy 2 tickets to see Rodney Carrington in August... so we're both happy campers!

This past Saturday we celebrated Chris's cousin's high school graduation down in Riverside. We had a great time seeing family and playing around. Here are some random pictures from that day!

Uncle Rob and Great Grandma and I tried to get the girls to sit still for two seconds to take some pictures... 17 pictures later we finally found one where they are both smiling! Just wish they were a little bit closer! But we had fun trying!

Lilah is 1 Year Old!

Lilah is officially 1 year old - as you have seen from her party pictures. She weighed 19.6lbs and was 30 inches tall at her 1 year check up. Basically, she's tall and skinny! We were given the okay to give her all adult food except for peanuts, honey and berries... so it's a slow transition in terms of what she likes and doesn't. But we're officially done with formula and ALL baby food! It's very nice!

I finally took Lilah to get her 1 year pictures today. We went to Kiddie Kandids, and were quite successful... I'd say too successful. It was pretty difficult to pick out the ones that we wanted... seeing as how we weren't given any bad choices! But we narrowed it down to 8... here they are!
